Stop marble etching before it starts

Invisible film that protects marble, quartz and granite from acids, stains and scratches.

The problem

Etching isn't a stain. It's damage.

Marble is calcium carbonate. When lemon juice, wine, tomato sauce or even some cleaners touch it, the acid dissolves the surface and leaves a dull, rough mark. That's an etch.

Sealers only slow liquids from soaking in. They sit inside the stone, not on top of it, so acids still reach the surface. Even a freshly sealed counter will etch.

A clear film is a physical barrier. Nothing reaches the stone, so nothing can etch it.

FAQ

Common questions

All questions →

On polished stone the film is virtually invisible. We also offer a matte film for honed finishes so the surface keeps its natural look.

Yes. Acids never touch the stone, so marble cannot etch. Wipe spills up as usual and the surface underneath stays untouched.

Sealers slow staining by limiting absorption, but etching is a chemical reaction on the surface. Sealers do nothing to stop it. A physical film does.

Most kitchens are completed in a single visit of 3 to 6 hours. You can use your counters the same day.

With normal care, expect many years of protection. Worn sections can be replaced without redoing the whole counter.

Yes. The film removes cleanly without damaging the stone or leaving residue.
